We use recycled ocean oyster shells in place of calcium carbonate powder which comprises approximately 10% of our neoprene

Carbon Black is one of the key ingredients in neoprene. It can now be carbonized from scrap rubber tyres using high heat to extract.

We have used limestone since 1996 to replace petrochemicals in our neoprene. It comes from nature and has less environmental impact.

Solvent-free Lamination

Solvent-free Lamination

We worked together with our key manufacturing partner to develope a non-solvent based lamination glue called "Aqua-Alpha" which bonds the suit's lining to the internal foam layer.

Dope Dyed Yarn

Dope Dyed Yarn

To save trememdous amounts of water whilst also reducing energy consumption and water polution, we use a dope dyeing process that infuses colour pigment into the fibre filaments before being spun into yarn.

O'Neill has partnered with the non-profit organisation Save The Waves Coalition to support their global efforts to preserve surf ecosystems. Both organisations share a joint mission focusing on protecting the oceans and the lasting legacy of surfing.

Toasty
Started using the 3/2 with an Oniel hooded vest for winter in the wave pool. Great warmth and really flexible. My new favourite.
That said it’s tricky to get the flap of the wetsuit over your head with the vest on

Hyperfreak Back zip
The wetsuit is great. It is comfortable to wear and pretty much leak free.
My only minor issue is that when you slide it on the over the neck extra seal is a little hard to find but I bet I will get used to that.
Wetsuit is as good as I hoped it would be.
