Autumn in QLD, from March to June will still have warm water temps but air temps will be getting a little chilly. Reverse for Spring, with late September to November having cooler water with air temps getting warmer.

Here are our recommendations for the best wetsuits for surfing QLD during autumn or spring:

Our Girls Bahia 2mm Long Sleeve Springsuit is our number one pick. Good warmth through the body and arms, plenty of protection from the sun, all in a suit that's easy to get in and out of.

The Girls Reactor II 2mm Spring Suit another good option. It doesn't have the same level of strech / comfort / warmth as the Bahia, however its great value for money suit that will last a long time.

The Thermo Short Arm Crew or the Basic Skins are some lycra recommendations if the water temp is getting warmer.

And for those more sensitive to the cold that want someting to carry them all the way through winter, the Bahia 3/2mm Steamer is a killer suit, with an internal liner for extra warmth and good stretch in the neoprene. The Reactor II 3/2mm Steamer is a more affordable option, but offers a little less warmth and stretch than the Bahia.

It just depends on what’s most important to you - warmth / flexibility / price.
