Tommy was born in Manly Australia to Brazilian parents, where like all little Aussie kids, he played rugby, did nippers and kicked a soccer ball..well!.
At 9, the family moved to Brazil, where Tom was accepted into the Sao Paulo soccer academy, with his heart set on a dream and a career.
Another move up north and a few random surf lessons later, it was then, that surfing became his fulltime passion. And it hasn’t stopped.
A move back to Australia as a teenager, then honing his act on the Gold Coast points, now sees Tommy with a big future.
“ We are super stoked to see Tommy join our team, and we all love the way he surfs. New school tricks, a silky smooth style and that raw rail game, that’s bred on the Goldy” says marketing director Rob Bain.
“ Also he’s a lovely bloke and no one can say a bad word about the fella. We feel that’s important.”
